I hate Parcelforce
Mar. 26th, 2003 12:14 pmOK, to be fair, I actually hate ParcelForce's Charlton depot, who seem to have decided that they can get away with ignoring me. I've had a succession of parcels go missing in the last few months and every time the same thing has happened:
1. I phone the supplier, who tells me the article was sent weeks ago and gives me a tracking number
2. I phone ParcelForce and ask where it is
3. They claim that the attempted delivery on such-a-such a date. Almost always this proves to be a date Lorna was home all day. They altos fail to provide an explanation why a card wasn't left.
Now, if things run true to form, I'll wait in all tomorrow, and then find a card through the door, without the doorbell ever ringing.
Now, where's the complaints line?

I can honestly say that the Charlton depot are the most seriously inept people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
