I don't understand all the "OMG XTIAN REFERENCES IN THIS STORY" ... I think people are nuts, and ignorant, if they think all stories are devoid of any sort of mythos.

I'm wondering if, since everyone complains that Narnia is "so Christian", criticism of the movie's plot comes under incitement to religious hatred?

Now that would be funny (to me at least).

I'm not particularly knowledgeable on the original book so perhaps you can help me out - did the author mean for his book to be based on events in the bible? Or are people just drawing parallels between the film and the bible based on what they think they see...?
