Invite Code Round-up
Dec. 15th, 2003 01:02 pmNow that LJ invite codes are a thing of the past and anyone can create their own journal, I thought it might be worth looking at how I've used my codes.
1.
semichrist Bobby Hitt, founder of Pen & Paper, asked for a code after he got a load of hits from my journal. The LJ's not been used since February, though.
2.
london_uk I created a community for London, as there didn't seem to be a decent one about. And promptly forgot about it. Oops.
3.
rickj Rick Jones (no, not that one). Well-used, readable journal.
4.
demonthefallen A community for White Wolf's Demon: the Fallen game. Intermittently trafficked.
5.
bobsbeenskatin I was contacted on AIM by somebody wanting a code. On a impulse, I gave it to him. He turned out to be the worst stereotypical teenager you can imagine. He eventually dumped the journal for one with a "kewler" name. An error.
6.
ninjarhino Sometime WW contributor and impressive internet imagineer Bryan Armor. A well-used journal.
7.
lornabear A journal created for the sole purpose of letting my wife read my friends-only posts.
8.
lostsorrow Another random contact, asking for a journal. More successful this time.
9.
darkages A community for WW's Dark Ages line of games. Off to a good start so far.
10.
entishlyernie4 Another random contact looking for a code. Time will tell...
