Good news, bad news
Nov. 19th, 2002 01:21 amGood news: I finished the first draft of my first Demon project in six months this evening. It's been an intense project, partially because of the subject matter and partially because of the extremely tight deadline. Still, I'm pretty pleased with the material. Let's hope the developer agrees.
Bad news: I finally heard from the body shop the insurers sent my car to, and the assessor has apparently declared the car uneconomic to repair. That's pretty damn annoying when the damage is purely cosmetic. The engine and the rest of the car are fine. Ah well, maybe I'll learn my lesson and stop buying cheap cars. For the second time in less than two years, I find myself car hunting. Maybe I'll have more enthusiasm for the idea when I've had a good night's sleep.
