I haven't posted here for a little while again. I'm not sure why, although I suspect I might know. The promotion at work has meant a raft of extra work, so I'm working long hours and being pretty damn focused while I'm doing it. That means that I don't do much but sit around looking dazed in the evenings right now.

I've been away a lot at weekends, my normal online haunt is pretty fraught right now and I have a deadline looming.

Oddly enough, I don't feel like talking about the political left's current assertion that the Iraq situation is all about the US trying to get its hands on Iraqi oil or the collapse in London's traffic infrastructure.

However, I did meet a very nice Benedictine monk last week. Anyone want to hear about him?

I'm totally into talking about the Iraq/Oil thing -- which I don't totally agree with, but I'll have a sufficiently offensive screed on my own journal soon.
