In the vein of "being too young", several years back when I was probably 20, I was working a grunt job at a factory. Myself and a co-worker were outside, standing around the burning barrel to keep warm [it was October.]
The guy was describing how First Nations people [but not using those terms.. ;)] up north used to toss records into the fire. Apparently they give off some interesting fumes when burning, although I've never tested this myself.
Partway through the story he pauses, takes another look at me, and goes "Wait. You DO know what a record is, right?"
