Well, at least we know why the Stockwell shooting victim reacted in such a paniced fashion to the police - he was in the country illegally.

This in no way excuses what happened to him, but it does contribute to our knowledge of what happened that day.

That explains a whole lot. I thought the whole thing was strange -- I'd expected drugs or something else to pop up in the case, something to explain his bolting from the cops.

You're right, though, in that earlier post. Why did it get this far? (See, this is why I read intelligent blogs. And yours, too!)
