Also worth checking out: Kung-Fu Chaos, an older game, and way underrated.

Date: 2005-07-25 11:54 pm (UTC)As has been noted before, Halo and Halo 2 both have terrific co-op modes. Big, blasting fun in general. Timesplitters 2 had a co-op mode and I imagine so would Timesplitters: Future Perfect. Both are much goofier than Halo and to my mind, more fun.
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory would be my pick, however. Be warned: It's a bit more complex than the other two, but it's still not that hard to get the hang of. And it's worth it, because the co-op mode is sublime. Two-player splitscreen, with co-operative moves that require you to work together in an effort to get through the levels silently. I usually play over Xbox Live, but it works fine in splitscreen as well. (Which I did with my brother for a while.)
