Decisions, decisions

After some weekend discussion and a lot of thought, I've decided that I won't be posting my political thoughts in my Livejournal anymore. There are too many people around who have too much invested in their own political viewpoints and who take intrusion of varying views into their friends page personally. I can see why. By its very name "friends" implies a warm, safe protected space. LJ friends pages, in effect a form of syndication aggregation, aren't that environment, but on the other hand, I don't want to thrust unwanted views in front of people who don't want to see 'em.

People who want to keep reading political stuff from me can go here, add atomtinworth as a friend, or add this feed to their RSS reader.

This space will be reserved for general life chit-chat.

Xbox, my Xbox

A couple of months back, I bought an Xbox, and left it with a friend while I finished a few freelance projects. Those projects are now successfully completed and I have retrieved said Xbox from my friend. Hurrah!
