Well, after eight months of marriage, I'm still learning. Today, I learnt that when Lorna says "I'm just going to spend a few minutes preparing the bathroom for the workmen to move the gas pipe on Monday", she actually means that we'll be spending most of Saturday stripping the bathroom back to bare floorboards.

I have this strange idea that I used to rest on weekends....
