Dec. 6th, 2003 03:07 pmI'm having an unusually techie weekend. I'm setting up two wireless networks. One, I've just finished. The network here in the flat has been upgraded to Airport Extreme (that's 802.11g, fact fans) while my old Airport basestation (802.11b) is going to be connecting Nicola's flatmates' wired network to her eMac.
This all sounds more impressive than it actually is. All I've been doing is looking at pictures telling me where to put various plugs and then answering questions asked of me by the Airport Setup Assistant. Still, it's fooling people into believing that I actually know about this stuff, so I'm no complaining.
