My technorati score is apparantly based upon links from 3 LJ blogs linking to my userinfo (two of which were because of a meme), one LJ linking to a specific post of mine, and the Pagga blog linking to me.
Given that there are a lot more people on LJ who have linked to my LJ than 4, all I can guess is that the Technorati score is based only on blogs they know about and that they haven't chosen to index the whole of LJ. (I have no idea if they've chosen to index the whole of, for example, blogspot.com.)
Teh upshot? If this rating works the way I think it does, and with a number of people on my friends list now adding their own LJs to Technorati, I'm expecting my rating number to drop quite significantly when Technorati next index.

And I'm pretty sure yours will too.
