A Nerd is someone who is academically focussed. You may have noticed that the test was orietned towards knowledge of math & science, as well as some stuff on social orientation.
A Geek, on the other hand, posts regularly in their LJ, can code simple HTML, and can remember where they were when they got their first non-traditional polyhedral die.
