Since I bought my XBox some months back, my wife has been adamantly against the whole concept of them. While he was over in the UK, the good [livejournal.com profile] rdansky said that, in such cases, it only takes one game to change the person's mind.

He was right. That game was Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. She's hooked.

Frightening.

For Melinda, it was Stitch: Experiment 626. That was a gateway game, and it led to Simpsons: Road Rage, and then before you knew it she was blasting mutant evil ninjas with the light gun like there was no tomorrow.

What scares me, of course, is the prospect of Lorna and Melinda finding some mutually agreeable game and teaming up online. The world as we know it might be doomed.
