adderslj7k for the day. Wow, it's like I'm my old, pre-burnout self again. If I hadn't gone to church today, I probably would have hit my old regular full day's writing count of 10k. What's more, I've finally started enjoying writing again. After weeks of only managing a few hundred words a night, and feeling like every one of them was a tortured birth, things are flowing at long last.
I still need a break, and a long one, but I'm beginning to feel that I'll come back to freelancing refreshed and eager.
What's more, Lorna's had a successful day on writing up her PhD thesis as well. If only we'd hit this writing grove a month ago, we'd both be done by now. Ah, well. Time for sleep. For the first time, I'm actually looking forward to coming back to this project tomorrow.
