Am I allowed to whine that my friends page seems to be filling up with people's tests, rather than them actually writing something interesting? Or will that just be interpreted as another step on the short, slippery road to middle age?

Nah, s'okay. Although I do find the tests a decent indicator as to how a person reacts to certain stimuli and how they perceive the world around them. Some of them are pretty funny, and I enjoy taking them. I've chosen not to display my results on LiveJournal but on 5arah.com instead for the reason of not wanting to offend other LJ users :)

you're so not old.

My firm, clean flesh may be young, but my mind is as old as the hills!

I remember when all this were just fields! Oooh-aaar!

You're entitled to whine. But in a way, the tests are like an old style 3 camera sitcom. There's a formula, and you know what to expect. Comfort posting, I'd call it.

Adders, agent 009, licensed to whine!

Cool!

So, it's comfort sitcoms, is it? Not a worldwide conspiracy by an UNNAMED organization, seeking to learn all about us by ANALYZING us through LIVEJOURNAL QUIZZES. We'll all be their slaves, before you know it, I tell you! Their slaves! Wrap your Livejournal in tinfoil - that'll protect you, oh yes!

THEY'RE COMING FOR OUR LIVESTOCK!
