iPodding it

I leaped onto a tube train this morning, on my way to a meeting in Farringdon, phat beats blasting into my ears from my iPod. Looking around after the doors had closed, I noticed that the man next to me was listening to an iPod. He grinned at me and pointed over my shoulder. I turned to look where he was pointing and saw an attractive young oriental lady right behind me, listening to her iPod.

These things are becoming ubiquitous. Still, you can enjoy the new ad here.

While I do listen to things that could be described as "phat beats", I was actually gently mocking myself. :-)

I wasn't entirely being serious myself ... not that I'm sure I'd recognise a phat beat if it hit me with a stick - I'm far more what are casually referred to as bangin' choons nowadays.

There are hordes of iPod users on campus at PSU. oakthorne just bought, with my help, an iPod today. I don't have one and am not of a mind to get one, if only due to money conerns. But they are damn cool, and definitely penetrating the market.
