It seems that the 8:58 train from London Waterloo to Salisbury is not one of the country's busier routes. Of course, I might have got this impression simply because I'm in the Mobile Free Zone and most people just can't live without the damn things now.

Still, the passangers are mostly old people or obvious holiday makers, so maybe Salisbury doesn't attract much business trade.

I am off to see some archeologists after all.

I hope you have better luck getting back than my trip to Gloucestershire last week!

Salisbury is an interesting place to visit and Old Salisbury, Sarum, up on the hill even more so from a historical (and archaeological) POV. I have a number of piccies from when Béa and I were there earlier in the year.

Timewarp!?

Okay, now I'm confused - in my friends view, this entry appears above that about getting back from the sticks so my comment about the return journey is rather moot. Apologies!
