I can honestly say that doing a wedding list in John Lewis turned out to be more traumatic than I expected. I’m just not used to making joint decisions about household matters.

And I’ve got less than three months to get used to the idea...

It's really not so bad. You'll get used to it soon enough and then you'll be wondering how you managed to do anything any other way. Seriously.
