Six hours to go.

I am mildly annoyed by the way Russell T. Davies and his team have turned me back into an excited kid every Saturday.

However, I'm even more annoyed by the fact that I'll be watching the last episode of this series perched on a kitchen that's currently occupying the living room. Our flat is definitely not dimensionally transcendental.

Today...

…I shall mainly be packing up my study (sniff) and stripping the walls of the dreaded woodchip paper.

Alas, alas, for my little den.

Anyone who was wandering what the "music playing" was in my last entry, well, you can download it here.

It's a mix of all the major versions of the Doctor Who theme from the 1963 original to the 2005 Murray Gold version. The transitions between the versions are beautifully handled. A real nostalgia fest.

As part of the study purge, I'm trying to finish the CD import into iTunes.

One of the major problems I have with the more obscure albums I have is that the track names and the artist names are often reversed in the info downloaded. This little script for iTunes sorts this problem out in seconds.

Just download it, put it in the Library/iTunes/Scripts folder in your home directory, launch iTunes and you're good to go. Select the tracks you want to fix, and chose the script from the scripts menu.

Mucho time saved.
