Oh, I forgot to mention, Demon developer dude Mike Lee is now prowling the halls of Livejournal as lighthorse76, just in case any of you freaky stalker types want to keep tabs on him as well.

Mike is the only WW employee to ever call me a "wanker" in an e-mail. Respect is due.

iPod's Clean Little Secrets

C'mon, you can't have missed the iPod's Dirty Little Secret video, can you? Well, Daring Fireball didn't, and has helpfully supplied some more accurate, but less sensational slogans they could use instead.

My personal favorite:

"I'm so fucking dumb I've not only videotaped myself committing criminal vandalism, I've released the footage publicly"

Splendid.

Things that annoy me:

People who have assumed that politics has nothing to do with them for the last decade or so, but suddenly get all het up because we invaded Iraq and start shooting their mouths off. They promptly undermine (and often drown out) the sensible and thoughtful anti-war voices, allowing the reflexive pro-war types to reduce the debate to the "Huh. Huh. They're dumb." level.

It's becoming increasingly difficult to find anything approaching sensible, thoughtful debate on occupied Iraq and it's annoying the hell out of me.
