Well, now, I have a copy of Orpheus in my grubby little hands. I'm slightly surprised by that. My only contribution to the line is the opening fiction to one of the supplements (written while on honeymoon, no less). However, I have a copy, for which I'm very grateful.
Reactions? I love the graphic design and typography. They've really turned the design up a notch from the run of the mill WoD stuff, which is great. The head and crosshead typeface is a very nice choice and the inevitable border design is the most evocative I can remember. My only complain would be the relative sparseness of the art. I have a magazine journalist's approach to design aesthetics and the trend towards more text-heavy, picture light books is not one I approve of. Full A4 pages of text are deeply intimidating to the eye, looking like hard work to read. They create an artificial resistance to reading on that full pages of text in novels don't.
The contents? Oh, I like that. But then, I read it months ago.
