The BBC is reporting that Kerry has conceded to Bush (or is about to) .

Its interesting to watch the media/information games being played even at this late stage in the contest: the channels being used to disseminate information (dis- and otherwise), not that the result is in much doubt. It's not what I was hoping for (though being European my wishes don't count for much in this case) or what seemed likely when I went to bed last night, but overall there seems less room to argue this time round. *sigh*
