I am delighted to note that Dark Ages: British Isles has been nominated for an ENnie award.

I was damn proud of the work I and my co-authors (including [livejournal.com profile] incandescens and [livejournal.com profile] kit_hartford) did on that book, under the guiding hand of [livejournal.com profile] innocent_man. It was one of the last few books I really enjoyed working on prior to the recent dark and difficult patch I've had with my freelancing.

It's up against some strong competition, but I'm just glad to see it there.

I'm also extremely chuffed about that. Even if we don't get anywhere, we did get into the nominations! Go us!

Go team! Good to see one of the DA books (my last for WW in fact) getting critical acknowledgement rather than the sniping that appears to be traditional.

I was thinking the same thing, especially given that I seem to have attracted a little tribe of trolls just waiting to leap and poop on books I've worked on.

Guess that means I'm, like, officially a developer or something. Grargh.

Anyway, good work, y'all! DA:BI has come off my shelf for various Dark Ages games several times, and actually was a reference for my Demon game (the characters chatted with poor Brother Anthony of Bardsey for a while).
