addersljThere a good piece about the past and current state of play of interactive fiction (aka text adventure games) here.
I encountered IF at about the same time I did RPGs - around the age of 10. Obviously. I've kept up better with the development of RPGs (seeing as I write for them and all) than I have with IF, so it's interesting to see what's going on now, in the age of 3D adventure games.
