My latest bunch of redlines - for a Dark Ages project I can't name yet - seem to add further weight to my theory that I do my best work when I let ideas swill around my head for weeks and then let it all fall out of my head in a week or so of intensive writing.

Deadline junkie? Moi?

You're not the only one. I tend (and often prefer) to work the same way, when I can.

Although sometimes - as with my Masters Research project - the thinking time is measured in months, not weeks :)
