An Annoucement

Some of you might have noticed a rather cryptic reference to what happened on my holiday in this very journal. Well, their was a very good reason for that evasion. Some other people took precedence over you lot, I'm afraid.

You see, I asked Lorna to marry me, and she said "yes". We wanted to tell the mothers first.
