Maybe because it's the BBC, this it won't suck.

If an LA production company were making statements like this, however, I'd be prepared for a lot of whining, breast beating, and the Doctor wandering about making "I'm just a time traveler. Your world frightens and confuses me..." speeches.

Please, please, television moguls. Don't try to give us substance. Substance only happens when you're all looking the other way.
