Upsetting DA: Clan Novel Authors

I've gone and riled another of the Dark Ages Clan Novels authors, or so it would appear. Stefan Petrucha has leapt into the comments on a post from last July.

The good thing about this is that it's brought my mind back to the issue and reminded me that my thinking has moved on since then. I'll try to post about it tomorrow.

I riled up Eric Griffen a few times when I mentioned that Clanbook Tzimisce was the single worst book I've ever read in my life. It wasn't until Lucifer's Shadow and the Demon trilogy that I ended my "no game fiction" rule I implimented after that.

You weren't the only person riling Griffen about that one, darlin'. I was sorely tempted to burn that book in effigy and only the fact that I worship at the altar of the written word really saved it.

Amen on that. I think I gave my copy of Tzimisce to Sarah, not sure what she did with it... it had some pretty major structural flaws. And the author was a [deleted] about criticism, too.
