There's an interesting article here about a new dynamic developing between interviewer and interviewee as the result of the growth of weblogging. Now, most serious journalists wouldn't conduct interviews by e-mail, except as a last resort. Face to face interviews are significantly more revealing and more useful, but even so it's a fascinating idea. It might bring a degree of accountability to my less scrupulous colleagues.
